Chris Davis and Sandra Waters established Mountain Shack Publications in 2008 to develop and publish good quality recreational guide books on some of Australia`s scenic, historic and unique places. As avid explorers and travellers they travel as much as possible on writing assignments researching the many wonderful and scenic places on offer around the country. The Basic Guide to Parks Reserves and Forests in Victoria is the first in a series of state based national park and state forest guide books for present day explorers and travellers. The guides are extensively field researched by the authors to ensure the information and details in the guides are as accurate and up to date as possible.
